Vancouver Mini Maker Faire celebrates learning, creation, and knowledge sharing. At Vancouver Mini Maker Faire, you will find exhibits created by professionals and amateurs from across North America. Some exhibits are new or one-of-a-kind inventions, which may or may not have been inspected and tested for safety. Some exhibits may involve moving parts, heavy machinery, electricity, fire, or other potentially risky elements. Interactive exhibits are a common feature of this craft. You may choose to engage with exhibits, use unfamiliar tools, and participate in collective works or performances. Participation in this event therefore carries inherent risk. Therefore, we are asking that participants in the event sign a waiver before pasing through the gate. We are taking every precaution that we can to make this festival as safe and fun as possible – with a team of over 150 volunteers, staff, and Maker crews.
